Racal is a cheerful, curious, and helpful little raccoon boy who wants to be a great detective someday. He assists Detective Poe who receives request letters from all over the world. They go anywhere to solve the problems! Rascal solves variety of cute mysteries, meets people, makes many mistakes, and learns lessons. Through his experience and appreciation from the people whom he helps, he gets closer and closer to be a qualified detective... he hopes!

It is a completely new animation series starring beloved Rascal, inspired by a novel by an American author Starling North.
